
The house was originally open and exposed to deer, and a fence was needed before taking on the task of planting flowers and trees:

Before adding an entrance, a drainage across the yard was finished using native river stones. The drainage flows under the deck and into Love Creek:

July 2005, building the first column using heavy duty plywood, chicken wire, and mortar:


By December 2008, both columns finished:

Inside the river rock patterns are broken pieces of terracotta pottery, small rocks gathered from the ocean, metal artifacts, and special crystals:





In August 2009, the 4×4 posts were bulked up to look like a 6×6 frame, and then the top arbor was added:



An old saw found in the horse shed was painted with the farm name as a Welcome to visitors:
