Strays that Stay

IMG_0723Snootles and Stumpy have found a home at Love Creek Farm.  Snootles, a shy, female ferral showed up about 4 months ago.  Just recently, Stumpy came along, a very skiddish male, ferral.  He lost his tail to some unknown situation, and the bone vertebrae are sticking out.  Once both cats started eating the food and relaxing on their outdoor bed out of the rain, they are starting to look healthier (coats less mangy and gained weight.  Not forest ragged).  We are looking forward to trapping them and taking to the vet in a few weeks.  There is one more cat that shows up only at night. He has not yet become acclimated to people.  For some reason, we have attracted ferral cats, but we are more than happy to welcome them home.
