Shasta’s Hoof

Reflecting back on what Shasta’s hoof looked like when I adopted him in 2008

Mike Hayward Horseshoeing has been a blessing because he is so experienced and knowledgeable, spending years to reconstruct Shasta’s hoof.  He uses a small torch to remove bacteria and dry the hoof before gluing on the shoe.
