I’ve been wanting to add a CATIO for the cats, and because we are repairing siding on the  back of the house, the timing was perfect.  Our contractor Ian was willing to build one, and I sent him this photo as an example.

Looking through different photos online helped me decide that we need a plastic roof too to keep it from getting wet in the winter rains.

Framed in place:

Ian left me with the chore of adding trim, painting it, and stapling in the screen.

The next weekend, Ian came back and added screen to the top and plastic as the roof.  The cats are now able to relax and sunbathe along the creek, listen to the birds, and feel the cool breeze.
