Potting Bench – Second Door Added

Started the day getting out the planer and testing it on the painted 2×2 redwood to see how it looked.  It will take awhile to plane each piece, sand off the painted edges, and stain so that will get finished on another weekend.  I did 8 today for the back of the potting bench.

The door had rot on one edge so the piece was replaced and all the hardware removed. I was able to hide the handle and lock holes with a recycled board off the horse shed that has writing on it.  I want to learn the source of this address label for a shipping crate.  It looks neat as the center point.

The next step is to finish the deck railing 2x2s around the sides, hang windows, add shelves, and fill it with pots.
