Today I finished building the new bee arbor by adding the corrugated roofing panels. I also added metal legs to the bee stand and prepped the hive components. I’ll be planting herbs in the pots for the bees too.

Yesterday, we finished stairs up to our Tier 3 area with the new planter beds. After digging the steps, we outlined with the burnt redwood bark slabs and covered with wood chips. Looking good!

The new arbor for our second bee hive is almost done. Just have to add the plastic roofing panel on top to protect the hive. Now, we have to build another arbor higher up the hill for a third hive. … Continue reading →
