Garden Update – Wood Chips!

The garden is looking good with lots of wood chips added, about 12 inches thick.

DSCN3442The last of the soil in the walkways was dug out on Thanksgiving by farmhand Will Burke.

Cardboard is laid out for sheet mulching now that the ground is level and flat.

DSCN3446DSCN3445We’ve reached a point where we’ll need trees trimmed to generate more chips to finish.

DSCN3447DSCN3443A blend of seeds was planted in the beds for erosion control/cover crop.  Looking forward to planting in spring.
