Today, we were fortunate to have the expertise and knowledge of our friend Forest Dale to graft the Hauer Pippin and Yellow Bellflower. Last year, I had researched the root stock through UC Davis extension and bought the trees from Cummins Nursery in New York. We tried grafting 20 trees, but none took.
I’m feeling positive that grafts will take with Forest’s help. Finger’s crossed.
After grafting, add B1 vitamin with water and also spray on the stems.
