Yesterday, we welcomed Rod Stewart, the Polish Rooster to the farm! He was posted for adoption on a group in Boulder Creek, and because he’s an adorable Polish rooster, a small bantam breed, he will fit perfectly. I picked him up outside of Big Basin State Park, the very burned zone. The story for this little guy, about 5 months old +/- is that someone dumped him out, and he was left to fend for himself in the wild. People would see him and leave out food. This guy Scott living in the area grabbed him 5 days ago and brought him home, hungry and dehydrated. Now, we are happy to give him a forever home. The girls are fascinated by his fancy hair style!
