First Storm

Rain started in the a.m. on Sunday so we are over 2″ in Ben Lomond. Love Creek is flowing well and no concern for flooding in our area.

Yesterday, we cleared drainage ditches and swales which are flowing rapidly around and through the horse corral and redwood grove. So happy we took the day to prepare. We make sure to do inspections every few hours to remove any clogs and check on the animals.

The new trails are fine, and the hillside is not causing any mud erosion. I wasn’t sure if we’d be out in the rain laying wattles.
