Garden Bed Walkway

Yesterday, Will and I teamed up to level the walkway by the new redwood bark planter beds. The hillside was sloping up and it needed to be flat.

I took a pick and hacked out the soil while farmhand Will Burke shoveled and moved it out. Fortunately it had just showered so the soil was soft enough to get this done. Perfect timing.

Now that this walkway is level, we can focus on building redwood bark retaining walls, a step up, weed barrier, and wood chips. Lots of great plans for a unique gate, fence with painted spindles, a gong, and more planter
