I needed a place for my shoes, why not custom shoe boxes?  Rich and I worked on the design measurements, and he milled the redwood.  I stained them redwood.

Besides shoes, I also store my work gloves and baseball cap.  Very functional and beautiful.  Also, a great use of the space right outside the door.
